What a good image, Marlow. The B&W allows us to concentrate on the ugliness of the "scar" rather than being sidetracked by the beauty of the area around it.
It certainly is an ugly line. I wonder what pipes they are: water, storm water, sewerage? They are forever digging up areas over here because they "forgot" to put in essential pipes! So much for Town Plannning.
Interesting - and good - image ...
Great shot! I like the perspective. Julie had the perfect word - scar - to describe this scene.
